No need to reboot

The "Shared Memory" error is just a new additional popup in Notes and Domino 8.0.1. It checks a bit "more" if you still have some notes processes running, which is actually a good thing. You can still restart Notes or Domino by killing all processes in task manager which start with the letter n (except the nvidia process: nvsvc32.exe, if you happen to have a nvidia graphics card).
